Any word on why?

Family reasons. He wants to be around his kids more. He won't be taking any other coaching jobs.

I'm gonna say Chad Longworth. He just completed his student teaching, has helped Wyrick for the last couple of seasons, plenty of baseball experience, and he knows the tradition behind the Kelly program. He's a young kid and would have huge shoes to fill, but give him time and I think it could be a fit.

I think they would be crazy not to hire Chad as the next head coach. You're not gonna find a guy who will work as hard as he has for the past few years.
